**Your mission**:
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Doha for a:
Laboratory Technician (STP) - Male

Job Purpose:
This position is a unique opportunity with so many advantage in oil and gas career sector in one of the most important Project handled by SPIE in Qatar with QatarEnergy in which a new Contract been awarded and started in March 2024.

The Contract consists with a multi discipline tasks in Maintenance and Operation of large Industrial Area with duration of 05 years

Written communication, Active listening, Verbal communication, editing.

Organization, Time management, Attention to detail, Problem-solving,

Computer literacy essential and familiarity with MS Office 2000 packages.

Your main duties will be to:

- Prepares laboratory equipment and materials for experiments.
- Conducts experiments following scientific protocols and procedures.
- Records and analyzes experimental data with precision and accuracy.
- Maintains laboratory instruments and equipment in good condition.
- Monitors laboratory safety practices and disposes of hazardous materials properly.
- Communicates effectively with other team members and superiors regarding experimental results, reports, problems, and progress.
- Keeps accurate records of experiments, observations, and activities.
- Performs routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Orders and stocks laboratory supplies and chemicals.
- Assists in the development of new experimental designs and research projects.

**Your profile**:
Ideally you will have Degree or diploma in chemical from a recognized
institution with 05 year experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry or in a similar system I facility.

Experience required in waste water treatment plant and chemical analysis or in major utilities environment,

Staff selected for this position shall have good spoken in English.

Gulf experience shall be added advantage

Shall have overall understanding of the STP and waste water treatment plant system and subsystem process,

Shall have high knowledge on scientific protocols, standards and procedures.

Shall have strong knowledge in Safety / HSE and PPE

**Desired level of study**: E-Bachelor or equivalent
**Minimum experience**: 6 years or more
**Working language(s)**: English (D-Full professional proficiency)
