As a Project Manager Subsidiaries - Business Development, you would be responsible to evaluate multiple business development / investment opportunities based on QR’s strategy and evaluation criteria mainly in hospitality and commercial real estate and provide technical and financial analysis, project management and expertise in-order to oversee and manage select projects/acquisitions from early stages through detailed due diligence to eventual completion.

To achieve success in this role you will need to:
- Initiate and conduct research on investment / property acquisition leads - covering all aspects such as alignment with Qatar Airways investment strategy, market research and competitive landscape, financial viability, location, inventory, services and facility, and create SWOT analysis when needed.- Provide “insight, analysis and implications’ on potential investments, and prepare formal communications to executive management to obtain direction covering financial analysis, market research and strategic, operational, legal and contractual considerations.- Engage and manage specialized consultants as appropriate, and review, analyze, and report on deliverables including Due Diligence activities (valuation, financial, tax, technical) for potential property acquisitions.- Provide insights into costs, schedules, risks, and plans, in order to recommend/support QR's commercial decisions.- Review long-term operator / management / franchise contracts and deliver fee structure analysis and comment on terms, conditions and highlight potential concerns or risk.- Identify, document project risks and issues, track and action until completion, including but not limited to risks/issues that are commercial, delivery-related.- Manage, track and report on multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate various activities with internal departments and external consultant teams.- Work with internal teams (Finance, Legal and Procurement) as needed on procuring/engaging specialized consulting services, reviewing consultant reports, conducting financial analysis, and making recommendations to executive management as needed.- Contribute to the team’s objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.- Train and develop new employees joining the team, to ensure succession planning is in place- Perform other duties as requested by the Management.

Qualifications

You should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 7+ years of experience including 3+ relevant years’ experience to encompass hospitality / real estate investments and financial analysis activities

Essential- Experience in Financial analysis and investments (M&A).- Background in management, project management, finance- Experience within the hospitality/hotel industry.- Experience in managing medium to large projects from initiation through completion- Experience in prioritizing and managing multiple assignments simultaneously- Experience in business case creation and analysis, Financial Models, ROI, etc.- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written. Experience in preparing reports and presentations to Executive management.
