**Job Title**: Real Estate Accountant

**About Us**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and leases.
- Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Manage the collection of rent payments from tenants, ensuring timely payment and proper documentation.
- Prepare and process invoices for rent and other property-related charges, ensuring all charges are accurate.
- Follow up on overdue rent payments and work with tenants to resolve outstanding balances.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Manage budgeting and forecasting for real estate projects, ensuring projects stay within financial guidelines.
- Handle tax filings, including property tax returns and income tax for real estate transactions.
- Assist in audit preparation and work closely with auditors to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage accounts related to property management, including rents, leases, and vendor payments.
- Advise senior management on financial strategy and investment decisions, providing insights into the profitability of projects and investments.
- Stay up to date with local tax laws, financial regulations, and real estate accounting practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in real estate accounting or property management.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, MRI, or other real estate-specific software).
- Strong understanding of tax laws related to real estate investments, including depreciation, capital gains, and tax deductions.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, identify trends, and making recommendations.
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: QAR2,500.00 per month
