**Description:
- Job Description - Retail Sales Manager - Automotive 1) Develop the Sales business plan for showrooms, prepare, analyze & review the annual retail sales forecasted demand orders accordingly with concerned managers & needful business results. 2) Responsible for achieving retail sales targets, analyze the potential area for improvement and recommend for proper actions. Monitor the sales operation process & procedures to overcome work barriers and facilitation enhancement. 3) Monitor & analyze the competitors pricing survey feedback in conjunction with marketing department. Operate the price schedules & discounts; review the sales activities reports to determine the profitability 4) Monitor the daily sales performance trend; coach the sales team performance for proper direction & appreciation as well, conduct & monitor performance evaluation results and direct them to achieve the sales target and customer satisfaction. 5) Monitor the customers’ preferences such as interests, for maximizing the customer satisfaction & maintaining interpersonal relationship. 6) Participate in external sales activities such as training, conferences, franchisee meetings, prepare all reports related to discuss & communicate with team. 7) Sustain a dynamic & motivational work environment among sales team, and develop their skills to match the business development requirements. Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the showroom sales & retail fleet sales team in mentoring and motivating the individual members to ensure superior customer service and accomplishment of sales, gross margin and stock level targets.
- Conduct daily meetings to review and discuss sales results, objectives and action plan
- Manage reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis with a strong review process
- Assist the management in setting KPI’s for showroom staff (sales & admin)
- Consistently achieve sales targets and performance KPI's for the team
- Prepare Sales Plans / Stock Forecasts /Budgets / Business Plans and Financial Reports for management review and reference
- Implementing organisational policies & procedures to ensure strict discipline among team members focusing on the ultimate goal of maintaining a strong corporate image and delivering total customer satisfaction
- Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort
- Ensure that the team members have the necessary knowledge, skills and training to effectively perform their jobs
- Familiarize the team with sales processes, customer needs & preferences, product specifications, key USPs, advantages/disadvantages against competitor products/offerings(price, special offers) etc. to enhance effectiveness in performing their assigned duties
- Support individual sales staff to close deals as and when required
- Ensure discussions and decisions are taken on issues to reach consensus & positive results
- Motivate sales team to create individual database from various available sources for continuous prospecting & increasing showroom traffic.
- Motivate sales team to generate new prospects through telesales & other means of communications & direct sales channels
- Guide and ensure proper time management for the entire team by setting a task oriented approach
- Recognize and celebrate team and team member accomplishments and exceptional performance
- Manage the roaster to ensure proper deployment & attendance of staff at all times
- Recruit & train new sales staff to meet the man power requirements based on the expanding business potential and to maintain optimum customer to sales staff ratio.
