MAINTENANCE

**Primary purpose of job**
Undertake fiscal, safety and engineering responsibilities of the maintenance Section which is functionally responsible for

maintenance, plant modification, shutdown, project engineering work, maintenance schedules, contract, tendering,

evaluation, negotiation, progress monitoring and close out reports.

Each team of LMEs consist of 3 Engineers, Each engineer is a member of 3 Engineers assigned to one of the production

stations (MM, BH, Alrayyan and NFA). The LME to ensure that all activities under his responsibility are carried out to

maintain/ improve plant safety, reliability and availability to achieve production targets at optimum cost with required level of

environmental performance.

Responsible for the cost effective and efficient maintenance of the platform related plant and equipment to ensure

availability of resources and the timely, safe and efficient completion of maintenance task in accordance with production

properties.

Responsible for the review and acceptance of planning and control documents relating to all maintenance activities of BH

field and related cost and progress reporting.

**Experience & Skills**
A minimum of 10 years of experience of which at least five (5) years in trade supervisory position, followed by five (5) years

in multi discipline position with varied maintenance operation experience within a similar offshore oil and gas environment.

Experience in the use of computerized preventive maintenance programme is essential.

**Education**
Experienced B.Eng or higher/ equivalent in a relevant Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrument) discipline with an

aptitude for understanding cause and effects of complex instrumentation / electrical control system.
