**Key Job Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive engineering and maintenance strategies to ensure the effective operation of the hotel's physical infrastructure.
- Supervise and lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of facilities and systems.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage the budget for the engineering department, controlling costs, and allocating resources efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments to address their technical needs and provide support for various events and activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, implementing measures to promote a safe working environment.
- Evaluate and recommend upgrades or improvements to the hotel's infrastructure to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, repairs, and maintenance activities for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in engineering technology, incorporating best practices into the hotel's operations.
- Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in alignment with organizational policies.
- Adhere to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
