This position is also a great opportunity for more experienced teachers to advance as there will certainly be opportunities for progression as the school enters the next exciting chapter in its development.

Qualifications and experience **essential** for this role are:

- Experience of delivering Global Citizenship, or a similar course(s), in Key Stage 3.
- Experience of teaching Global Citizenship, or a similar course(s), at i/GCSE.
- Experience of teaching Geography in Key Stage 3 & 4 (at i/GCSE).
- Experience of teaching in British curriculum schools.
- A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning.
- A high level of written and spoken English.
- Committed to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Collaborative and able to work as part of a team.
- Inter-culturally aware with well-developed interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the school vision, including extra-curricular activities.

**Desirable**
- Experience of teaching History in Key Stage 3 & 4.
- Experience of teaching Geography at AS/A Level.
- A strong emphasis and desire to be outstanding in teaching and learning.
- Recent UK experience and previous international teaching experience.
- Child protection trained.

**HOW TO APPLY**:
Successful applicants will be required to attend an induction weekend in Sherborne, Dorset on 6th & 7th July and travel to Qatar around 21st August 2024 for induction training.
