Doha, Qatar Kate Facility Managment Full time

Duties:
Responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal in Abdali Group buildings.
- Assist in analyzing reasons of electromechanical system failure and provides specific diagnostic, problem analysis and specify the necessary remedial actions for Mechanical Engineer approval.
- Performing preventive maintenance on all electromechanical components, and parts of the Abdali Group as per schedules and orders.
- Respond to complaints and general comments in regards to electromechanical works and day to day snags.
- Check all lighting, power sockets, and make sure all are active at required times.
- Cooperation with maintenance technicians in achieving the team job.
- Solving problems by taking proper technical actions to any electromechanical problem within the required time.
- Respond to emergency problem as reported by security, housekeeping, and engineering staff.
- Performing service and repair plumbing, drain cleaning, faucet repairs and replacements, water heater troubleshooting and replacement.
- Maintain a clean, organized job site.
- Installing or maintaining heating systems.
- Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials.
- Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures/ components in Abdali Group buildings.
- Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment
- Assemble and install valves and fittings
- Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment, piping and controls
- Install, repair and maintain underground storm sanitary and water piping systems
- Install, repair and maintain sinks, tubs and toilets
- Install, repair and maintain water heaters and conditioners
- Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and appliances
- Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks
- Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are met.
- Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded.
- Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meets the requirements of the appropriate codes.
- Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements.
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.
- Ensure that all water supply networks and waste and drainage systems are installed, repaired and maintained to meet all standards of building codes and safety.
- Check all rest rooms sinks, cabinets, urinals, etcand making sure that they are operating up to standards and operational all the time.
- Installing of new piping, modification, water system valves, or new mini projects that need mechanical expertise as ordered by the engineers.
- Checking any leakage problems due to piping and mechanical equipment and making sure proper measures are taken to identify and solve the situation.
- Repairing sanitation systems.
- Perform emergency repairs as required.

Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience: minimum of 10 years experience
