**Control & Instrumentation Technician**

Duration : 2 Months (Extendable)

Salary : To be discussed

Location : Doha/Pearl

Duty Hours - 8hrs / 6 days ( excluding lunch break )

Generic Description
- Provide maintenance to all buildings, Plants, ETS’s and PDN’s including, but not limited to Electrical, Control & Instrumentation.
- Conduct regular and scheduled visual maintenance inspections inside and outside Plants, ETS’s and PDN’s to see where maintenance is needed.
- Record maintenance activities as carried out and follow daily/weekly work orders.
- Conduct general housekeeping in own work areas in order to ensure and comply with safety rules and regulations.

HSSEQ:

- To follow all QC Safety Rules as specified.
- To take full responsibility for the safety of yourself, co-workers, and on-site contractors, ensuring full compliance to all QC Safety rules.
- Proactively intervening and reporting of all observed unsafe behaviors and conditions - See It, Own It - Report it.
- To undertake all PTW activities in full compliances with the specified requirements of the PTW, JSA’s and Method Statements.
- To undertake all Last-Minute Risk Assessments prior and during all work activities.
- Ensure that issued PTW are fully complied with and that no work is undertaken outside of PTW scope. Using the authority to stop work when PTW requirements are not fully complied with or unsafe acts and conditions are either observed or reported to them by the working party.
- Ensuring that all requirements are fully achieved and checked prior to the handing back of the Asset / Equipment to Production & Distribution and the worksite is in a fully safe and operational ready condition.
- Comply with the ISO 9001: 2015 QMS requirements in applicable job areas / functions.
- Being always open and professional if ever challenged on your own behavior in relation to Health,
- Safety, Security, Environment and Quality.
- Perform any other related duty as assigned by the immediate supervisor, in accordance with the provisions of the labor law.

**Control & Instrumentation**
- Provide preventive and corrective technical maintenance and solutions to all Low Current System and
- Control System components and equipment within the plants, buildings, ETS’s and PDN’s.
- Check and maintain existing wiring installations for all Low Current System and Control System equipment.
- Provide troubleshooting for the control panels, power sources and ensure wiring tightness.
- Provide tuning for controls and equipment.
- Test equipment and controls after maintenance has been done.
- Test, calibrate, maintain and repair instruments and equipment to conform to established standards.
- Responsible to keep abreast with knowledge and skills in case of instrument and equipment upgrade/replacement in order to maintain expected level of service
- Install, repair and maintain equipment related to Low Current System and Control System, in order to maintain company standards.
- May provide assistance to control engineer in design/drawings of modifications.
