Senior Architect Engineer
- Grade A

Senior Architect plays a pivotal role, integrating architectural design vision with structural feasibility and project management acumen. This role combines expertise in architectural design, site planning, structural coordination, and project management to deliver cohesive, functional, and sustainable project outcomes. The Senior Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout all project phases—from conceptualization and planning through execution, monitoring, and successful project completion.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Lead the conceptual and detailed architectural design process for complex projects, alignment with client specifications and design standards.
- Collaborate with structural and civil engineers to ensure the architectural designs are structurally sound and meet load-bearing, foundation, and stability requirements.
- Provide input on structural systems and material selection that align with architectural goals and project requirements.
- Conduct site assessments to guide the design process, taking into account grading, drainage, and soil conditions.
- Oversee all phases of architectural project management, from design to construction, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring design milestones are met and projects stay on track for on-time delivery.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential issues that could impact the project’s quality, budget, or schedule.
- Manage project documentation, ensuring that all design changes, approvals, and project modifications are accurately recorded and communicated to stakeholders.
- Act as the primary architectural liaison with civil, structural, and MEP teams to ensure smooth interdisciplinary coordination and integration.
- Organize and lead regular design and project status meetings, facilitating communication and collaboration between architecture, engineering, and construction teams.
- Provide on-site support to address design or structural challenges that arise during construction, ensuring alignment with the project plan.
- Ensure all architectural designs and site plans comply with local and international codes, zoning laws, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular quality control assessments during construction to verify alignment with design and structural specifications.
- Document any deviations, adjustments, or quality concerns, collaborating with construction managers to resolve issues promptly.
- Actively participate in client meetings to present designs, progress updates, and address questions, ensuring architectural and structural considerations are clearly communicated.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to incorporate feedback and adjust designs as needed to meet evolving project requirements.
- Support project bids and proposals by contributing architectural and structural insights for potential projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in design (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp) and project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and structural design principles.
- Familiarity with MEP integration and environmental design best practices.
- Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in risk mitigation and conflict resolution.
- Detail-oriented approach to project documentation and quality control.

**Experience**

Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design, structural coordination, and project management, ideally within an EPCM context.
