Work collaboratively with management, coaches, staff and players to develop, coordinate and promote sustainability initiatives. The sustainability coordinator works in collaboration with the organization's management to organize, coordinate and encourage effective sustainability initiatives to reduce the impact of sports activities on the environment. Responsibilities include educating the sporting community on sustainability, coordinating programs and activities, conducting sustainability-related research, and submitting annual reports.
- Work with the organization's management to develop a mechanism and implement the sustainability program for sports activities in line with the overall sustainability strategy of the organization.
- Assist in defining and achieving the organization's sustainability goals, tracking performance metrics, and evaluating program effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain the section on sustainability on the Foundation's website to include information highlighting the sustainability measures taken by the Foundation and related programs.
- Track trends and developments in the field of sustainability to identify areas for improvement and help monitor new initiatives and suggest best practices and legislation to management.
- Work with the Foundation to develop a sustainability plan for sports activities in the clubs affiliated with the Foundation.
- Supervising internal training programs for clubs and providing guidance and support for their implementation.

**Qualifications**:

- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or any related field.

**Knowledge and experience**:

- From 3-5 years of experience in the field of sustainability and environmental programs in the field of sports.
- Knowledge of developing, maintaining, and/or managing sustainability-based initiatives, operations, or programs that includes collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data.

**Skills**:

- Interest and passion for football.
- Having creative skills, a sense of initiative and the ability to solve problems.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to produce written reports and guidelines and develop training programmes.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work collaboratively with other individuals and volunteer groups
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels.
- Advanced skills in MS office.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 10 months

**Salary**: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,500.00 per month
