**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct visual and non-destructive inspections of welding activities in accordance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
- Verify that welding procedures, techniques, and materials comply with approved specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Perform inspections of welding equipment, tools, and consumables to ensure proper functionality and calibration.
- Document inspection findings, including weld defects, non-conformities, and deviations from specifications.
- Communicate inspection results to project management and stakeholders, and assist in the resolution of quality-related issues.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to safety regulations and best practices during welding operations, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.
- Collaborate with welding crews, subcontractors, and vendors to address quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality control procedures to enhance welding processes and procedures.
- Participate in audits and assessments of welding procedures, systems, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and support to welding personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to promote continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Qatar Energy Approved certification for Welding Inspection is required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in QA/QC welding inspection within the oil and gas industry or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, procedures, and materials used in industrial environments.
- Familiarity with welding codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., ASME, AWS, API).
- Proficient in interpreting welding procedures, specifications, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Valid work authorization in Qatar.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: QAR9,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month
