**Job Summary**:
The RO Plant Operator is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of the Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plant. This includes monitoring the performance of the RO system, ensuring water quality meets required standards, and conducting routine inspections and repairs to maintain the plant’s efficiency and safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor the Reverse Osmosis (RO) system to ensure continuous water production and optimal performance.
- Perform regular inspections of the RO plant to detect any potential problems and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor and adjust water flows, pressure levels, and chemical dosing to maintain the proper operation of the plant.
- Record and analyze operating data, including water quality, flow rates, pressure, and equipment performance.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance, including cleaning, servicing, and repairing of pumps, membranes, filters, and other equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with other staff, including engineers and maintenance teams, to address technical and operational issues.
- Perform water quality tests to ensure the output meets the required standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all safety protocols.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in water treatment, chemical operations, or related fields is preferred.
- **Experience**: 2-4 years of experience in operating and maintaining RO plants or similar water treatment facilities.
- **Knowledge of**:

- Water treatment processes, especially reverse osmosis technology.
- Chemical dosing, water quality testing, and filtration systems.
- Basic mechanical and electrical systems for maintenance and troubleshooting.
- **Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Proficient in data recording and analysis.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods. Must be willing to work in various conditions, including heat and humidity.

**Work Environment**:

- This position involves working in industrial water treatment facilities and may require shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Safety gear, such as helmets, gloves, and goggles, may be required.
