Reporting to the Head of Construction Shore pull & Trenching, the Construction Lead Shore pull & Trenching is responsible for supervising and monitoring the on-site construction activities for the Pipelines and Cables of Offshore related to shore pull & trenching & relevant onshore works up to and including onshore construction, beach landing, beach valve station and tie-ins to the beach pull scope of work.
- To ensure the objectives at construction sites are safely met within the approved scope, procedures and schedule for onshore Pipelines and Cables to the highest quality standards.

**About this role**
- Focal point at site, for promoting and implementing safety on construction site. Implement the safety observations reporting and monitoring.
- Assist Offshore Head of shore pull & trenching Construction in executing Project responsibilities for the shore pull & trenching & relevant onshore scope of work.
- Supervise & monitor all construction, liftings and trenching & shore pull related activities of the Project, to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule.
- Effective coordination & communication for shore pull & trenching & related onshore site activities and provide technical support with contractor, quality, safety, planning and engineering.
- Additionally, monitor daily progress & reporting for onshore construction, direct and supervise Contractor, ensuring strict adherence to procedures and any changes to scope. Provide technical support and supervision for micro tunneling works, pipeline and cables installation.
- Ensure & supervise the shore pull & trenching construction input into gate deliverables and site implementation.
- Ensure all approved documents for shore pull & trenching & relevant onshore construction, shore pull, pipelay and cable lay are adhered to at site and any deviation is discussed in timely manner in accordance with the contract requirements.
- Ensure implementation of mitigation for construction aspects of the Risk Management Plan and verify the mitigation as agreed. Monitor respective shore pull & trenching & relevant onshore construction changes, and assist Head of Shore pull & Trenching Construction in justification for cost and schedule impacts, in accordance with the PMOC procedure.

**What you need to bring**
- 10 years experience in shore pull & trenching construction with at least 8 years demonstrated at a senior construction level in major capital pipeline & cable projects within the offshore oil and gas industry.
- Experience with contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry
- Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds
- Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved in the construction of Offshore LNG production facilities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT Engineering Degree / HND/HNC or similar, however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience in lieu of sufficient years in the field of shore pull & trenching & pipeline installation & construction.
