Commis Waitresses

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Commis Waiter. The Commis Waiter plays a vital role in supporting the front-of-house team, assisting with table service and ensuring that guests receive a memorable dining experience at Tick Restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist senior waitstaff in setting up and preparing the dining area for service, including arranging tables, chairs, and table settings. **Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables, providing menus and assisting with seating arrangements.** Take drink orders from guests and deliver them to the bar, ensuring prompt service and accuracy in order placement. **Assist in serving food to guests, delivering plates to the correct table and ensuring that each dish is presented beautifully.** Monitor guests' needs throughout their meal, refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, and offering additional assistance as required. **Assist with cleaning and maintaining the dining area during service, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.** Collaborate with other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and efficient service, communicating effectively to coordinate tasks and address any issues that arise. **Uphold Tick Restaurant's standards of hospitality and professionalism, providing friendly and attentive service to every guest.**

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred, but not required. **Enthusiasm for providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for guests.** Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. **Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.** Team player mentality with a willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment. **Professional appearance and demeanor, with a neat and tidy appearance in accordance with restaurant standards.** Fluency in English; additional language skills, such as Arabic, are a plus.
