Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the overall investment strategy for the Hospitality Investment Fund, aligning with the company’s goals and market opportunities within the Emerging Markets hospitality sector.
  • Lead the fund's expansion efforts by identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities, including acquisitions, developments, and joint ventures.
  • Drive the execution of high-impact investments in line with market trends and the fund’s strategic objectives.

Market Expertise:

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Emerging Markets hospitality market to identify and capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key Emerging Markets hospitality and real estate stakeholders, including developers, operators, and government entities.

Portfolio Management:

  • Oversee the management of the fund’s existing portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and return on investment.
  • Regularly assess and adjust the portfolio strategy based on market conditions, asset performance, and risk factors.
  • Lead the negotiation and structuring of investment deals, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Financial Oversight:

  • Develop and manage the fund’s financial plan, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Monitor the portfolio's financial performance, ensuring alignment with the fund’s targets and investor expectations.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the board of directors and investors on the fund’s performance and strategic initiatives.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of investment professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, encouraging professional growth and development.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure the successful execution of the fund’s strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in investment management, with at least 5 years focused on the Emerging Markets hospitality and real estate markets.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading investment projects and managing portfolios in the hospitality sector.
  • Deep understanding of Emerging Markets, including regulatory frameworks, economic trends, and industry dynamics.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in financial modeling, valuation, and performance analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal structuring skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Fluent in English
