Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to join our team. As an essential member of our E&I department, you will be responsible for preparing tenders and estimates for electrical and instrumentation (E&I) projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate tenders and enquiries to ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.
  • Liaise with clients to clarify scope, specifications, and standards.
  • Obtain supplier quotations for materials and services.
  • Prepare prime cost estimates for management approval and tender submission.
  • Document deviations from contracted work scope and prepare claims for additional works.

Project Coordination:

  • Ensure compliance with company, client, and statutory safety regulations.
  • Monitor job costs and implement company quality procedures and client standards.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of departmental systems, policies, processes, and procedures.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security, and environmental procedures.
  • Report accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
  • Audit and review work activities to prevent unsafe practices.

Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain records and prepare recruitment progress reports.
  • Ensure team compliance with all policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Required: Minimum of 7 years in E&I Estimation Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry (Offshore and Onshore).
  • Preferred: Experience in EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning), Sales, Shutdown, and Manpower Supply.
  • Required: Proficient in English.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Arabic.
