Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Project / BU Engineering Activities: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the engineering team to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure Engineering Deliverables: Verify that all engineering deliverables meet the overall statement of requirement, industry standards, and client specifications.
  • Support Discipline Engineers: Provide guidance and mentorship to discipline engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Ensure Engineering Interfaces: Coordinate with relevant parties, including partners, clients, 3rd parties, and regulators, to ensure smooth engineering interfaces.
  • Ensure Safe and Quality Execution: Ensure that all engineering projects are executed in a highly safe manner, with conformance to quality standards, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Build and Manage Engineering Team: Recruit, develop, and manage a strong engineering team to achieve company business growth objectives.
  • Coordinate Disciplines Activities: Manage and coordinate all disciplines activities to ensure successful project execution.
  • Promote Safety Culture: Promote a safety culture within the engineering team and ensure that all operations comply with safety rules.
  • Define and Pursue HSE Objectives: Define and pursue HSE objectives within the engineering team, in collaboration with BU / Project HSE.
  • Ensure Efficient Follow-up: Ensure efficient follow-up on engineering deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Organize and Check Quality of Technical Documentation: Organize and check the quality of technical / engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Animate Engineering Meetings: Animate engineering meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Maintain Close Coordination: Maintain close coordination with onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist Project and Planning Teams: Assist project and planning teams in developing project plans and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Prepare Construction Budgets: Prepare construction budgets by analyzing technical drawings, updating specifications, and projecting costs for each elevation.
  • Assign Responsibilities: Assign responsibilities, mentor project team members, and develop economical state-of-the-art structural systems to save estimated initial costs.
  • Work with Multiple Discipline Projects: Work with multiple discipline projects and monitor fieldwork activities, as well as organize minimum subcontractors on a daily basis.
  • Monitor Compliance: Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with Estimation Team: Coordinate with the estimation team on project estimation and project schedule.
  • Ensure Documentation Submission: Ensure that all necessary documentation is submitted along with invoices to the client/owner representative, and completion certificates are signed off appropriately.
