About This Job:

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Naufar. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in clinical psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment interventions for patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and contribute to interdisciplinary teams providing comprehensive care for patients with emotional and mental health disorders.
  2. Develop and implement specialized clinical psychological treatment programs for patients with complex needs.
  3. Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  4. Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping and report writing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology

Certification/Licensure:

  • Valid Primary license from the country of origin as a clinical psychologist/counselling psychologist/psychotherapist
  • Eligible for license from the Licensing authority in the State of Qatar to practice as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Up-to-date CPD in relevant clinical/counselling psychology areas

Experience:

  • 5 years in clinical psychology field out of 2 years relevant experience in Addiction or Substance Abuse Disorders
  • Multidisciplinary experience across the fields of mental and physical health
  • Previous experience in the area of personality disorders treatment and/or posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Advanced residential patient and ambulatory care patient clinical skills
