Job Title: Commissioning Leader

At Brunel Qatar, we are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Leader to join our team. As a Commissioning Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Coordination: Oversee and coordinate Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) and Permit to Work (PTW) activities for all Disciplines to ensure EPC Contractor delivery of all aspects of planning and execution of systems completions, including pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, is in full compliance with company SHES requirements.
  • SIMOPS/PTW Plan Development and Implementation: Provide clear guidance to the EPC contractor and facilitate resolution of SIMOPS/PTW issues to meet project objectives and milestones.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Ensure all planning and execution activities associated with SIMOPS/PTW by the EPC contractor, including third parties such as vendors, consultants, sub-contractors, etc. are executed to Project's specifications and requirements.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: Provide SIMOPS/PTW expertise, for planning and execution of activities with regard to Permits and leadership driving EPC contractor to deliver in accordance with project deliverables and execution schedule.
  • Leadership and Coordination: Directs the preparation and stewardship of SIMOPS/PTW scope of work in EPC contract, supports contractor by helping address gaps, coordinate with operations and other disciplines within the team.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain close liaison with members of Engineering, quality, construction, and operations Teams to deliver clear plans and efficient execution of the project scope of work. Accountable for ensuring execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with project objectives and specification.
