Job Description

At Precision Hire Solution, we are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems using Java.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality Java software applications using object-oriented programming principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation, including code comments, API documentation, and technical guides.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our software systems.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with Java.
  • Strong experience in microservices architecture, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
  • Good understanding of database programming using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
  • Experience with web services (REST and SOAP) and HTML5/Javascript.
  • Strong collaboration and investigative skills, with the ability to cross-reference information for accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, independently take direction, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with.NET Core/Classic SignalR and Apache Tomcat.
  • Knowledge of banking and wealth management software, such as Comarch Additive and Temenos.
