About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant/Associate Professor to join our team as a Cell Biology Instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing undergraduate courses in cell biology, including lectures, labs, and discussion sections.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and education in cell biology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cell biology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct undergraduate courses in cell biology, including lectures, labs, and discussion sections.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching materials, including lectures, lab manuals, and assessment tools.
  • Grade assignments and exams, provide feedback to students, and maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, committee work, and other professional activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new curriculum and educational programs.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with teaching and mentoring, preferably in an academic setting.
