Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement to join our team. As the Head of Procurement, you will play a critical role in shaping our procurement strategy and ensuring the efficient sourcing of goods and services that align with our business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective procurement strategies to drive business growth and cost savings.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team, focusing on excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, supplier performance, and emerging industry trends to inform procurement decisions.
  • Oversee the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth procurement operations.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and ethics standards.
  • Provide regular procurement reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management for informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior procurement role, preferably in FMCG, with fluency in Arabic and experience in Qatar.
  • Proven leadership, negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of procurement strategies, contract negotiation, and market analysis.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and drive results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement tools and software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
