About the Role

The Cafe Specialist will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that all beverages are prepared to the highest standard. This includes operating espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment to make a variety of coffee and tea drinks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve high-quality beverages to customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including countertops, equipment, and seating areas.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Process transactions using the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Manage inventory and ensure par stock levels are correct and maintained at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Basic math and cash handling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
