Job Description

Brunel Qatar is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test software applications and systems, including front-end and back-end solutions.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot issues in software applications, databases, web servers, and networks to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure reviews are fully documented and actions are raised and fulfilled.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Implementation teams to support product updates.
  • Create security and data protection settings.
  • Develop features and applications with mobile-responsive design.
  • Work closely with the Development team on analysis, requirements gathering, and reporting project status.
  • Design, develop, and test applications in accordance with established standards.
  • Prepare reports on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
  • Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
  • Ensure adherence to internal procedures regarding Quality, Security, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Level Management.
  • Provide end-to-end support and operations services to clients through investigation, diagnosis, and fix preparation.
  • Develop scripts for data rectification for data-related issues caused by bugs in modules.
  • Find root causes through problem investigation and management to reduce incidents and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Adapt to different processes managing change lifecycle end-to-end to address client demands and requests.
  • Perform health checks on application level.
Requirements
  • Strong programming skills and experience in software development.
  • Knowledge of APIs, cross-platform optimization, and mobile-responsive design.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with development tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
