We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated ELV/Audio-Visual Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team at Alfardan Group, a leading company specializing in IT Infrastructure, ELV, Security Systems, Networking, and Virtualization Solutions in the Middle East.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Conduct site surveys to gather design space details and provide technical solutions to clients.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to clients with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Create detailed system diagrams using AutoCAD or Visio.
  • Develop comprehensive Scope of Work and Operational Narrative for proposed solutions.
  • Review Requests for Proposal (RFP) and generate Requests for Information (RFI) to address design deficiencies.
  • Design and create installation drawing packages, including floorplan layouts, rack elevations, mounting elevations, and wiring diagrams for smaller design-build Audio-Visual projects.
  • Requirements for Success:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in ELV/Audio-Visual system design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, D-Tools, or similar ELV/Audio-Visual design software.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, and other similar products.
  • Design and engineering of IP and analogue CCTV systems, biometric systems, ACS systems, burglar alarm systems based on drawings and technical specifications.
  • Preparation of tender documents, BOQ, and estimation for proposed sites.
  • AVIXA CTS or CTS-D certification is preferred.
  • System design and estimation of alarm systems, CCTV, access control systems, and public address systems.
  • Knowledge of data networking as it relates to Audio-Visual systems.
  • Configuration of DVR, NVR, biometric, ACS systems.
  • Knowledge of parking barrier systems, PA systems, PABX systems.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to coordinate with clients and consultants to meet system requirements.
