We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oral Health Specialist to join our team at Primary Health Care Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert knowledge and technical consultation in dental public health services and projects, supporting community oral health education and advisory services, and developing/improving community dental public health promotion and prevention programs.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Implementation
Plan, organize, and implement community oral public health programs and projects in line with corporate and national health strategies.
Oral Health Promotion and PreventionDevelop plans to enforce oral health promotion and preventive measures in the community.
Outcome Monitoring and EvaluationEstablish processes to monitor outcomes of community oral public health programs and projects and suggest changes to improve outcomes.
Specialist Advice and SupportProvide specialist advice and input on relevant initiatives that require an oral health perspective.
Training and DevelopmentDevelop training needs for dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants when needed or upon request.
Policies and ProceduresDevelop and review dental health educational materials and policies, guidelines, and procedures related to oral public health services.
Patient Safety and Quality ImprovementDemonstrate a proactive approach to patient safety by preempting risks and taking necessary actions to prevent them from happening.
Reporting and CommunicationDevelop reports and presentations as per request of the line manager and use verbal and written communication to establish and maintain effective relationships within the department and other directorates.
Requirements- Education
Bachelor's degree in Dentistry.
ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in dentistry in the primary healthcare setting.
Skills and QualificationsMaster's degree in public health preferably in dental Public Health Certification, license, or training requirements. DHP license in general dentistry is preferred. Certification in Health Management or a relevant certification in Quality Management is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic. Effective interpersonal, motivating, and influencing skills. Commitment to continuous development.
