The Senior Legal Affairs Counsel is a key member of the Power International Holding team, responsible for ensuring that all legal activities within the Group are conducted in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and charters. This role involves developing, maintaining, and disseminating legal information to stakeholders, providing support to the legal team, and ensuring staff knowledge remains up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Develop and Implement Legal Strategies**: Establish the short and long-term strategy for the division, translating it into business plans with objectives and performance indicators. Report on progress against those plans to measure success and support the achievement of the Group's strategic objectives.

2. **Lead and Manage the Legal Team**: Build and lead a motivated, engaged, and competent manpower throughout the division by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to improve performance.

3. **Optimize Organization Structure**: Recommend an optimum organization structure for the division in coordination with the General Counsel's Office and Human Resources to ensure efficient and effective workflow of operational processes and optimal utilization of resources.

4. **Collaborate with Human Resources**: Work with Human Resources in the development of the division's manpower plan to ensure timely and best-of-class delivery of tasks.

5. **Prepare and Recommend Budgets**: Prepare and recommend the division's budget in alignment with the respective annual business plan and ensure proper cascading into departmental budgets.

6. **Handle Public Private Partnerships**: Handle public private partnerships (PPPs) proceedings.

7. **Advise on General Business Law Issues**: Advise on general business law issues and manage the legal issues of all areas of the company, including corporate matters, procurement, safety, security, insurance, and sustainability issues.

8. **Represent the Department**: Represent the department as required in liaison with the superior.
