Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Coatings Specialist to join our team at Boeing. As a key member of our coatings team, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, performing rework and touchup painting, and preparing paint materials according to BAC specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces to ensure proper adhesion, including the selection and use of agents to remove corrosion, paint stripping, and protective coating.
  • Rework and Touchup Painting: Perform rework and touchup painting, both spray and brush, per BAC specifications.
  • Paint Material Preparation: Prepare various paint materials, such as primer, enamels, lacquers, etc., per BAC specifications.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and service spray guns, paint tanks, brushes, hoses, and related equipment after use.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of coatings and surface preparation techniques, as well as excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
