Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Cooling Specialist to join our team at Raffles Doha. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our refrigerant-based systems, including cool rooms, chillers, freezers, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Testing and Maintenance: Test, operate, and maintain various refrigerant operating systems to ensure effective operation and loss prevention.
  • Repair and Replacement: Plan, follow up, and ensure that all repairs have been done as required in day-to-day activities.
  • Energy Efficiency: Record and monitor refrigerant and energy consumption, and reduce consumption wherever possible.
  • Spare Parts Management: Plan, evaluate, and maintain spare and consumable parts for effective and efficient maintenance.
Supportive Functions
  • Snagging and De-snagging: Perform snagging and de-snagging tasks as required.
  • Support to HVAC Technicians: Provide support to HVAC technicians as needed.
  • Other Supportive Functions: Perform other supportive functions as required by the supervisor.
Physical Requirements

This role requires experience in using basic hand and power tools, as well as the ability to stoop, kneel, grasp, lift, push, and pull weights up to 80 lbs., climb ladders up to 40 feet high, and reach in all directions, often times overhead.

  • Hotel Rules and Regulations: Upon employment, all team members are required to fully comply with Accor rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of the hotel facilities.
  • Hospitable Service Atmosphere: In addition, this is a hospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
