Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability and security of our network services, designing and implementing network security infrastructure architecture, and leading network projects to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure network service availability and oversee firewalls, web application firewalls, network analyzers, network switches, and other security devices.
  • Design and implement network security infrastructure architecture to protect against cyber threats.
  • Establish and enforce hardware and software standards suitable for network security environments.
  • Examine network systems to identify vulnerabilities and consult with internal and external parties to understand network security requirements, controls, policies, and threats.
  • Maintain a high level of detail to prevent stealthy cyber attacks and anticipate security risks to implement innovative solutions.
  • Keep up-to-date with current information security trends and track, analyze, and resolve threats, including malfunctions and attacks.
  • Ensure secure LAN and WAN architecture and lead network projects to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct network maintenance and system upgrades, including service patches, updates, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • Configure, verify, and troubleshoot routing protocols and segregate and maintain VLANS, inter-VLAN routing, and VTP.
  • Manage and supervise structured cabling and administer and troubleshoot Avaya IP Telephony Systems.
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and determining organizational needs to coordinate the development and maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Manage and configure Aruba wireless systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience.
  • Knowledge in Barracuda Firewall, Fortinet Firewall, and Sophos Firewall.
  • Knowledge in Barracuda Web Application Firewall.
  • Knowledge in Darktrace EDR Solution.
  • Knowledge in Routing, switching configuration in Avaya, Aruba, and Cisco.
  • Knowledge in Avaya Communication Manager and Avaya IP Office.
