Job Summary:

NES Fircroft Ltd is seeking a highly skilled OLCM Engineer - Mechanical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical equipment in our Oil and Gas Operating company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and Recommend Spare Parts: Review Recommended Spare Parts lists (RSPL) and recommend spare parts for all new projects to ensure optimal inventory and quality.
  • Master Data Governance: Review all Master Data Governance (MDG) requests (Material creation, change, deletion, and obsolete) through SAP to ensure optimum inventory and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Review existing material inventory stock levels to ensure optimum quantity in warehouse and minimize financial exposure.
  • Policy Development: Develop and review policies and procedures relevant to Obsolescence and life cycle management.
  • Vendor Management: Review vendor drawings and manuals and ensure 2 years and life cycle spares of all equipment under project scope are covered in RSPL.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Interface between PMT, Maintenance department, and other departments to ensure resolution of materials requirements during Project Phase.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise effectively with relevant stakeholders as required.
  • Material Management: Support material Write-on / Write-off and repair and return as per the agreed roles and responsibilities supporting the division objectives.
  • Technical Evaluation: Review Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) and ensure Mechanical equipment spares procured to meet company's requirements.
  • Engineering Feasibility Study: Carry out engineering feasibility study (eMOC – management of change) for Obsolescence Management to upgrade obsolete mechanical equipment & its components.
  • Obsolescence Management: Review obsolescence of Mechanical spares and equipment to ensure business continuity and minimize operation risks.
  • Complex Analysis: Assist management in complex analysis and task reviews.
