Job Title: Consultant Ophthalmologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our team at Medacs Healthcare. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with eye-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat eye disorders, including corneal and cataract conditions.
  • Perform ophthalmic surgeries, such as refractive, eye muscle, and glaucoma surgeries.
  • Prescribe ophthalmologic therapies, including cryotherapy and low-vision therapy.
  • Conduct thorough tests of the visual system to determine the severity and nature of ocular disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient medical history and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in eye disease diagnosis and treatment.
  • Participate in audits and reviews to ensure high-quality care and compliance with quality standards.
  • Supervise the maintenance of instruments and inventories for efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in ophthalmology, with a strong background in corneal and cataract surgery.
  • Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to stay current with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and eye disease diagnosis and treatment.
