Job Summary

As a key member of the Qatar Airways team, you will be responsible for managing a group of interrelated projects within the IT Work Programme. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery of the programme, while also assisting the Senior Manager PMO in the delivery of IT Work Programme for assigned LOBs or the IT department itself.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the assigned programme and ensure projects are delivered within agreed cost and timescales, optimizing available resources to achieve programme objectives.
  • Define and maintain a list of projects to be undertaken, including key attributes such as business priority, and ensure each project is initiated at the right time.
  • Establish organizational control structures for the work programme, working with Senior Managers to ensure compliance with defined standards and procedures.
  • Consolidate and prioritize risks from individual projects, allocating resources to manage risks with the highest impact on the programme.
  • Establish and maintain a consolidated work programme plan based on high-level planning output from individual projects.
  • Provide summary reports of all projects in the programme to relevant stakeholders in regular intervals.
Requirements

As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve programme objectives. You will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks. Additionally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
