Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Flowing Gas Analyst to join our team at QatarEnergy LNG. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for administering the provisions of Flowing Gas agreements, coordinating and monitoring implementation of all other provisions, and ensuring compliance and exercise of the Company's rights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Flowing Gas agreements, including payment, quantity, force majeure, and notification provisions.
  • Coordinate and monitor implementation of all other provisions of the agreements to ensure compliance and exercise of the Company's rights.
  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of procedures for the Sales Gas and Ethane LPG Processing and Marketing Agreements, Backup Agreements, Domestic Gas SPAs on Account of LNG Backflow Agreements, Emergency Backup Agreements, and Flare Reduction Agreements.
  • Analyze and monitor flowing gas deliveries to ensure business continuity and compliance with volume and/or specifications related provisions of the agreements.
  • Identify complex SPA/commercial and operational issues and suggest recommendations on the most appropriate approach.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • 6 years of general business or industry experience, including 4 years of hydrocarbon sales contracts administration experience, preferably with marketing of oil and gas.
  • Knowledge of the domestic and export Sales Gas sector within the Oil and Gas industry.
Technical and Business Skills
  • Basic analytical skills, including economic analysis, and verbal reasoning skills.
  • Intermediate spreadsheet and modelling skills.
  • Fluent in English Language, demonstrated verbal and written skills, including presentation skills.
  • Astute commercial skills and judgment.
  • Computer literacy with intermediate MS Office skills, especially spreadsheets and modelling skills, databases, word processing, and presentation programs.
  • Intermediate knowledge of EC Transport Sales and Revenue Module skills.
