Job Title: Lead Engineer

Al Madina Group is seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer to lead our QA/QC effort in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining, or Power Generation industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance work and a proven track record in turnaround and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a QA/QC structure with embedded lessons learned to provide the foundations of flawless turnaround execution.
  • Manage and execute QA/QC audits & Quality Plan, and develop reporting for QA/QC statistics and KPIs.
  • Train staff in QA/QC procedures and ensure adherence to QA/QC standards.
  • Develop and interpret QA/QC related procedures and guidelines, and facilitate root cause analysis.
  • Identify flaw mitigation and provide effective plans to implement the same.
  • Develop and implement the Flawless Turnaround program throughout the execution process.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in maintenance work in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining, or Power Generation industry.
  • Minimum 5 years in QA/QC lead position.
  • Sound understanding of QA/QC structure and its application in turnaround and maintenance services.
  • Strong mechanical background with all-round knowledge of other disciplines such as Civil – E&I.
  • Proficient in Flange management process and tightening techniques.
  • Sound knowledge in client DEPs.
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical background with all-round knowledge of other disciplines such as Civil – E&I.
  • Experience in facilitation of root cause analysis.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, ASME, and ANSI codes.
