We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team and contribute to our research goals in sustainable water management. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hydrogeology, hydrology, or a related field, with expertise in developing and calibrating transient MODFLOW groundwater models.

As a member of our research team, you will work closely with experts from various disciplines to integrate your knowledge and skills with the CWatM model. Your contributions will help us better understand and manage Qatar's water resources, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing advanced groundwater models that address Qatar's unique environmental challenges
  • Applying machine learning algorithms to enhance the accuracy of the models
  • Integrating the models with the CWatM model to support comprehensive and adaptive environmental analyses
  • Managing large-scale, real-time data streams to ensure data integrity and consistency across all modeling activities
