About This Role

This position is an exciting opportunity to join Amentum's team of experts in munitions management. As a Munitions Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of U.S. Air Force (USAF) Munitions, Munitions Material Handling Equipment (MMHE), and supporting resources.

Responsibilities:

  1. Safety and Compliance: Observe and enforce all USAF and host nation explosives safety, AFOSH, and security standards during all explosives and non-explosives operations in assigned sites and temporary duty locations.
  2. Emergencies: Take necessary control and ensure timely response actions during emergencies.
  3. Quality Processes: Conduct all munitions work according to established quality processes, identifying potential problems and recommending solutions.
  4. Supervision: May supervise Asian/Local National Munitions Workforce while providing clear instructions about the work.
  5. Documentation: Accurately document all serviceability and accountability actions in a timely manner.
  6. Warehouse Operations: Conduct warehouse inventories and correct any discrepancies.
