Pipeline Engineering Lead

Brunel Qatar is seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Engineering Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our pipeline designs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Design Compliance: Ensure that our pipeline designs comply with all relevant codes and standards, including Contract requirements.
- Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to our contractors to promote compliance and ensure that our designs meet the required standards.
- Project Planning: Plan and schedule pipeline engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution and ensure technical alignment with our operational policies and standards.
- Functional Safety: Supervise and ensure that our contractors' functional safety designs comply with Contract requirements, including codes and standards.
- Design Workshops: Participate in key design workshops and ensure that pipeline and functional safety design recommendations are correctly implemented and actions are closed before the end of EPCI.
- Engineering Interface: Supervise the engineering interface between topsides, onshore facilities, and pipeline engineering and other teams, including operations, drilling, well management, and jacket engineering.
- Purchase Orders: Support pipeline-related purchase orders with contractors and system vendors to ensure safe and seamless integration of systems without disturbing existing operating facilities.
- Progress Monitoring: Support the pipeline engineering manager in monitoring contractors' progress on delivery of required documents in pipeline disciplines.
- Technical Deviations: Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure endorsement of pipeline technical deviations to Company specifications when required.
- Management of Change: Ensure compliance with management of change procedures for changes in contractors' designs or deviations from Company directives.
