Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Ensure the accuracy and fairness of our financial reports, including Operating Expenditure (OPEX) and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) accounts.
    • Deliver robust budgets and forecasts for OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Cost Control and Optimization
    • Provide insightful cost reports to our management team, enabling early identification of cost increases and implementation of remediation plans.
    • Drive the cost culture within our organization through daily pedagogy and addressing poor behaviors.
  • Procure to Pay Process
    • Monitor the performance of our Cost Control team in processing Purchase Requests, Call-offs, 2-way matching invoices, and FI invoices.
    • Assist team members in solving complex cases and define a process with Contracts & Procurement to minimize open and inactive Purchase Orders, Work Orders, and WBS elements.
  • Policies and Procedures
    • Develop and update all Cost Control related policies and procedures, ensuring they meet accounting best practices, statutory requirements, and changing business needs.
    • Continuously seek to optimize areas within Cost Control.
  • People Management
    • Lead direct reports and encourage them to develop their skills through regular feedback and team meetings.
    • Establish objectives and conduct Performance Appraisals of direct reports.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, cost control, and analysis, with excellent communication and leadership skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail.
