We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager for Offshore Projects to play a crucial role in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment essential for our projects. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to streamline the supply chain process and maintain project schedules.

About the Role

This position offers an opportunity to directly impact project success and operational efficiency by managing EPC Contractors, Project Management roles, and identifying and managing spare parts requirements. The ideal candidate should have sound working knowledge on materials for offshore platforms and subsea pipelines, strong knowledge of procurement practices, contract management, and supply chain processes.

  • The candidate should possess 12 years of experience in a similar position in the Oil & Gas sector or 15 years of experience with a diploma holder.
  • Experience in GCC is desirable, and proficiency in Chinese language is a plus.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external suppliers, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Manager for Offshore Projects will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with QA/QC to verify testing requirements, quality, and specifications of ordered materials, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Coordinating across different stakeholders and acting as focal point to expedite and facilitate communication between Company and Contractor on procurement-related issues including direct communication with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants should hold an Engineering and/or Business degree and/or diploma and meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in a similar position in the Oil & Gas sector or 15 years of experience with a diploma holder.
  • Desirable: Experience in GCC and proficiency in Chinese language.
