Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager

Qatar Project Management (QPM) is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality planning and designing of foundations, building structures, and overseeing site work and associated civil and structural engineering activities for a wide variety of projects across multiple locations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the design manager to establish high-quality infrastructure engineering systems detailing procedures, methodologies, and guidelines for effective estimation and management of project costs.
  2. Develop working templates to establish client needs, conduct site surveys, cost estimation, tendering, evaluation, and allocation of work to sub-contractors and contractors.
  3. Create guidelines for value engineering and perform risk management for sites and structures to help onsite teams deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions that meet regulatory and HSE requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with 2-3 years in a managerial role within a medium to large Project Management Company.

Degree educated with a relevant degree (Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent).

Fluent English speaking/writing (Arabic is an advantage).

Cost management and control techniques, as well as value engineering techniques.

Proven people management skills.
