About the role:
Hamad International Airport is seeking an experienced professional to contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of its Airport Safety Management System. The successful candidate will assist in developing and maintaining corporate safety standards related to airside safety matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in Airport Management, Aviation Safety & Compliance department activities related to Safety Assurance & Promotion.
- Produce management reports and presentations on airport airside safety matters and other subjects relating to Safety Assurance and Promotion.
- Identify training needs, implement a training system, participate in safety promotion campaigns, and conduct stakeholder audits.
- Design and facilitate airport-wide safety promotion campaigns and programs that create a safety culture and promote positive safety attitudes.
- Assist with safety performance monitoring and management of change processes.
- Facilitate communication with the QCAA Aerodrome Inspectorate on aerodrome certification matters within the Safety Assurance & Promotion domain.
- Monitor and provide relevant safety training for airport employees on topics such as Airside Safety Awareness and Airport Safety Management Systems.
- Deliver mandatory airside driver training, retraining, and qualifying tests for airport drivers.
- Maintain a system of safety records for audit purposes.
