Job Description

The role is responsible for handling multiple financial planning and analysis tasks and activities including driving forecasting cycles, leading cost optimisation targets, and month end closure. The role is an integral part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team with key responsibility to drive companywide planning exercises and cost optimisation program.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive Planning and Forecast Cycles: Ensure close collaboration with business partners and functional teams on all forecasting cycles including Long-Range Plans to prepare forecast and plans aligned with Vodafone guidelines and delivered within stipulated timelines.
  2. Target Setting and Planning Calendar Finalization: Responsible for target setting and planning calendar finalization with respective management and managing & coordinating Kick off meetings with Functional management to align key strategic goals, targets and initiate commercial strategy discussions.
  3. Planning Consolidation: Own, run and manage consolidation models and ensure that actual and forecasted data related to all key drivers underlying business is captured correctly. Also responsible for preparing consolidated presentations during all planning cycles at align with management and Board approval.
  4. Long Term Valuation: Responsible for long term valuation of the company for impairment testing.
  5. Cost Committee Review Sessions: Lead monthly Cost Committee review sessions in coordination with business partners, including pre-alignment with respective management and stakeholders.
  6. Month End Support: Support head FP&A during month end by performing analysis on interconnect costs and other assigned direct cost & OPEX line items and consolidating segment wise analysis.
  7. P&L Preparation: Prepare full company P&L and align with CFO & Execs discussion on finance recommendations to the forecast.
  8. Forecasting: Responsible for planning & forecasting of all below EBITDA items, cash flows, and managing the IFRS16 & Depreciation forecast models.
  9. Weekly Forecast Presentation: Prepare and present full company forecast on weekly basis in coordination with business partners.
