Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled TS Controller to join our team at Qatar Airways. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing F5 load balancers, migrating other load balancer vendors to F5, and creating load balancing rules using industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement F5 load balancers to ensure high availability and performance of our network infrastructure.
- Migrate other load balancer vendors to F5 to standardize our load balancing solutions.
- Create load balancing rules using industry best practices to ensure efficient traffic distribution.
- Develop and maintain strong understanding of F5 network solutions, including LTM, APM, and application delivery with basic ASM.
- Work with scripting using TCL and rules to automate network and security-related tasks.
- Provide technical support for the Network & Security Infrastructure, including attending to incidents, problems, and performing system administrative activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide permanent resolution/workaround for high severity incidents within defined SLA.
- Ensure preventive maintenance is conducted by the vendor at regular intervals and document reports for future reference.
- Maintain technical documentation, including SOP, administration, and configuration documents.
- Ensure all established IT infrastructure library (ITIL) processes and procedures are implemented and adhered to for standardized services and support across IT platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with network routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.) and experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis.
- Provide technical consultation and guidance to peers, other technical teams, and application development/support team.
Requirements:
- Expert level knowledge and experience on Palo Alto firewalls with Panorama, Fortigate Firewalls, Cisco FTD, and ASA.
- Expert level knowledge and experience on Checkpoint firewall with extensive experience on configuration of rules, managing, and deployment.
- Added benefit of knowledge on Azure Networking solution implementations, VNET, NSG, Hub and Spoke, Express route VPN's, and UDR.
- Good knowledge on automation platforms like Terraform & Ansible for automating network and security-related operational tasks.
