IT Auditor

Rare opportunity for a seasoned IT auditor to join a leading Oil and Gas operating entity in Qatar. Reporting to the Head of Audit Operations, you will be part of a large and highly skilled audit team.

You will develop an audit strategy that ensures all audits are compliant with international best practices. This is a key role within the business, requiring strong relationships across all divisions and a passion for introducing and promoting corporate governance.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field (professional certifications preferred)
• Extensive experience in internal audit in the Oil & Gas Industry, with a proven track record of success
• Familiarity with risk-based auditing processes and ability to plan, develop audit programs, perform fieldwork, and deliver high-quality audit results and reports
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with management and staff at all levels
• Detailed understanding of Oil & Gas measurement and production processes, process controls, and related technologies
• Working knowledge of maintenance modules in SAP systems
