Software Development Expert

We are seeking a skilled RPG Developer to join our team at Insight Global.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software components using RPGIV, RPG Free, DB2/SQL, and RPG/ILE programming languages.
  • Collaborate with the Development Team Lead on software design and analysis, including supporting documentation.
  • Perform thorough testing and troubleshooting on developed applications.
  • Work with the user community during development and testing phases as required.
  • Adhere to internal software development standards and change management procedures.
  • Develop and maintain service programs, stored procedures, and SQL views.
  • Utilize expertise in troubleshooting real-time job failures.
  • Understand DDM connections and communication between multiple AS400 partitions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in creating and maintaining service programs, stored procedures, and SQL views.
