About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Building Services Technician to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all mechanical systems, including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect and maintain all MEP systems in the hotel, both physically and via BMS (Building Management System).

  2. Perform repairs and maintenance on all mechanical systems and machinery.

  3. Respond promptly to any maintenance issues, guest complaints, and emergencies.

  4. Implement and handle preventative and corrective maintenance of all equipment, central plant and update appropriate logs.

  5. Diagnose and handle all repairs of equipment including electronic, mechanical, electrical components of these systems, motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.

  6. Be capable of running diagnostic tests to identify the source of any issues.

  7. Fix kitchen equipment and air handlers.

  8. Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner.

  9. Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.

  10. Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel.

  11. Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and residential applications.

  12. Ensure all mechanical systems are up to standard and functioning as needed.

  13. Respond and resolve any issues that may occur promptly.

  14. Supervise installations of new equipment and applications.

  15. Perform routine checks on the equipment ensuring safety and performance requirements are met.

  16. Monitor overall energy usage, maintaining costs levels whilst avoiding potential negative environmental impact.

  17. Oversee external specialized contractors ensuring Four Seasons standards are being met at all times.

  18. Ensure all staff members understand and follow safety regulations, building codes and other relevant procedures are followed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience with a luxury/or 5* hotel and/or resort.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well with a diverse team.
