Procurement and Logistics Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement and Logistics Officer to oversee and manage our company's overall procurement strategy and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Source suppliers and negotiate contracts and prices to achieve the best value for the company.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies as they arise.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, finance, and sales teams, to forecast demand and create purchase plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and laws.
  • Evaluate and optimize procurement and logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
