Teach Away: Secondary School Principal

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Secondary School Principal to join our team at Teach Away. As a leader in education, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school, ensuring the highest standards of academic excellence, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and vision for the school, leading a team of educators and staff to achieve academic excellence and student success.
  • Curriculum and Instruction: Develop and implement curriculum plans, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices.
  • Staff Development and Support: Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among teachers and staff, providing coaching and mentoring to enhance instructional practices.
  • Student Support and Well-being: Ensure the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students, addressing individual needs and promoting a positive school culture.
  • Communication and Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, community members, and stakeholders, promoting transparency and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, with a Post Graduate Qualification in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of classroom experience, with a proven track record of leading whole school improvement and special education expertise.
  • Skills: Proficient in building and developing operational systems, contributing to an operational budget, recruiting high-quality teachers, and establishing effective relationships within the school and parent community.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Language: Arabic language desirable.
  • English Proficiency: Excellent writing, reading, and oral communication skills.
